Angela founded Zenith People in 2001, after initially starting her career in the manufacturing then recruitment sectors. She is MD of both Zenith People and sister business Zenith Training, and is responsible for business strategy, growth, profitability and governance.
When she’s not working, Ang enjoys food (both cooking and eating), wine, travel and running (to work off the food and wine!). Ang’s bucket list is extensive but her top three (currently) are to see the Northern Lights, to complete a sommelier’s training course and to head off on safari.
Paul has over 15 years’ experience of working within the third, skills and welfare to work sectors. He is a board member at VODA in North Tyneside and the Director of Business Development within Zenith Training, and as such is responsible for securing and delivering business growth, profitability and innovation. When he’s not working, Paul enjoys food (both cooking and eating), wine, travel and Triathlons.
Val has worked in the training and recruitment industry for as long as she can remember. She now works as a Learning and Development Coach at Zenith Training where she is heavily involved in offering careers advice and guidance in local schools.
In her spare time, she enjoys running marathons and holidays in the sun. Her dream is to live a life of total luxury, because apparently, she’s worth it.
Keith has worked in the training and recruitment industry for the past 6 years, he has worked alongside businesses in a sales related role for more than 15 years. Keith now manages the Employer Relationship team for Zenith Training.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching football, and also watching his children playing in various sports. Keith’s dream is to retire as early as he possibly can.
Jo has worked in a variety of roles within the training sector, including a Tutor, Assessor, Internal Quality Assurer and Compliance Manager. She now ensures quality and compliance is maintained for all Zenith Training contracts and qualifications. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, going on holiday and scuba diving. Apart from travelling the world, Jo’s dream would be to dive the wrecks of Truk Lagoon.
Jill joined Zenith Training in July 2017 and works as an Employer Engagement Coordinator where she manages client contracts and oversees all activity.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her pug Toby, drinking wine and long walks. Her dream one day is to visit Nashville USA and sample a beer in a traditional country town bar.
Andy has worked for the organisation since early 2017, working as Lead Assessor within Zenith Training. As well as assessing a range of Apprenticeship qualifications, he delivers a range of accredited and bespoke training programmes to our customer base.
In his spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and brewing his own beer. Andy’s dream is to appear on MasterChef.
Andrea has over 12 years’ experience of providing advice, guidance and support to both young people and adults. She now works as the Candidate Engagement Coordinator at Zenith Training.
In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her little girl and partner where they try to be as active as possible by cycling, walking, visiting the beach and going on trips around the country in their caravan. Her dream would be to have enough money to travel the world and buy a top of the range campervan to visit the Highlands of Scotland, France, Spain and Italy.
Steven been with Zenith since 2013 and is now an Employer Engagement Coordinator. He works with different employers recruiting apprentices and full/part time positions.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing/watching football, following Newcastle United both home/away and spending time with family and friends. Steven’s dream is to travel the west coast of America for a few weeks.
Tamsin studied Applied Science at Newcastle College and is now an Apprentice Administrator at Zenith Training where she is working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Qualification.
In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with her chocolate Labrador and enjoying tasty food with her partner. Tamsin’s dream is to win the lottery and adopt ALL the dogs in shelters.
Joanne is a Learning and Development coach for Zenith Training, her role primarily involves the delivery of group pre-employment training for the customer service and hospitality sectors. Her background in tutoring spans several years and includes the delivery and assessment of Apprenticeship and Functional Skills qualifications. Before pursuing a career in training and education, she worked in administrative and customer-facing roles within leisure and tourism and the public sector, as well as sole-trading as a fine artist for several years. Michael joined Zenith Training in 2019 as a Learning and Development Coach, delivering Employer led accredited group training courses in Hospitality and Customer services, as well as assessing Distance learning courses in various subjects. His experience comes from a career in Hospitality and Customer service roles including in Restaurant Management and Customer service roles spanning almost 20 years, which also included me becoming a qualified Assessor across a wide range of qualifications. In his spare time he spend my days running around after his two young boys trying to limit the mischief
Within Zenith Training, Iain operates as a Learning and Development Coach and has been in the training industry for nearly 8 years specialising in delivering lean techniques and management skills within the automotive, food, pharmaceutical, electronics and heavy industries. He works closely with the Business Development Team to align programs to client needs. Iain is passionate about sharing his manufacturing skills to both develop individuals and business, so training is tailored as far as possible to create a customer focussed culture.
Phil's role at Zenith Training is to deliver apprenticeship qualifications over a range of different employment sectors. He has experience within the education across a number of varied roles including teaching assistant, a primary school teacher and further education as an assessor and tutor. He has successfully delivered qualifications in team leading, management, business administration and customer service. In his spare time, he enjoys walking his dog, visiting art galleries and practising Tai Chi Chuan.
Justine is the Head of Operations, this is a varied role and she responsible for a team of Assessors, Delivery staff and Administrators and making sure each day runs as smoothly as possible. Having been in training for almost 20 years, working in a variety of settings from Hospitality and Customer Service to Logistics and Transport she has worked with a range of people and employers to support going back into employment and/or progression in the workplace.
Her spare time is taken up with keeping fit(ish), cycling and walking her 2 dogs.
Liz is an Apprenticeship Assessor and her experience includes delivering a range of training within Call Centres. She worked for the AA in the Newcastle Call Centre for 9 years as a manager, but also business support for BE group, and event management for Event Durham (Durham University). Liz became an assessor in 2013, working for a small training provider delivering customer service, sales and management qualifications nationally.
