Unipres is an international first tier automotive supplier of press parts and we work in partnership with their branch and training academy based in Sunderland.
We regularly generate candidates who are interested in Production Operative roles at Unipres, by promoting and advertising these positions through our various channels.
We gather groups of individuals and book them onto our joint information session at Unipres Training Academy where each candidate must complete a Math’s and English assessment.
Those successful applicants are then offered a place on our Pre-Employment Training course where our experienced team deliver employability awareness specifically tailored to Unipres, as well as training around communication skills, team building and verbal and written instructions.
Finally, on completion of our training course we hand over fully prepared individuals to the Unipres Academy. They are then taken through employer and job specific training.
We prepare candidates for the next 3 weeks of training with Unipres and provide them with vital skills and information about the organisation and what they can expect on their journey.

McDonalds are an international fast food restaurant and we have been working with a number of their branches in the North East for a number of years.
We regularly generate candidates who are interested in Crew Member roles at McDonald’s, by promoting and advertising these positions through our various channels, which includes a variety of job centers across North Tyneside and Northumberland.
These individuals are asked to join us for a 4-day Pre-Employment training course where our experienced team deliver employability awareness specifically tailored to McDonalds, as well as training around communication skills, customer service, team building and interview preparation and techniques.
On completion of our training course we hand over fully prepared individuals to McDonalds where they are interviewed and invited to take part in a work trial.

The candidates have shown a commitment to attending and taking part in the course which in turn shows who is committed to gain employment”.
They went on to say “Not all candidates have previously worked in a customer service role and this job specific training benefits them enormously, and also gives them a chance to see if they are suited for the role”.
