Due to the vast array of FLT trucks in operation across the industry it can sometimes be much more beneficial and cost effective to convert an FLT licence.
Forklift truck operators, even those who are trained and experienced, need to be routinely monitored in the workplace and attend a refresher course – generally every 3-5 years – to make sure they continue to operate safely and efficiently.
Our in-house novice training is aimed at people who have no skills or prior experience with driving and operating forklift trucks or other manual handling equipment.
In line with guidance supported by the HSE, this qualification is valid for three years, after which point, learners will need to retake the course. It is recommended that learners refresh their knowledge annually.
