The Warehouse Operative is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse including Health & Safety, and Quality performance in their specific and immediate work area. The purpose of the Warehouse Operative is to carry out a variety of jobs such as, Quality control, arranging goods in/out.

Apprenticeship Overview

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. Your apprenticeship training will be a fully work-based learning programme across 12 months. Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 2 qualification as a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative.

  • Quality checking of manufactured goods prior to dispatch.
  • Clean and wrap of all manufactured goods.
  • Ensure there is an sufficient stock of products required to do your job role within the warehouse.
  • Ensuring your own workspace and surrounding areas are kept tidy.
  • Ensure goods don’t get damaged.
  • Working towards a schedule of goods to be delivered each day.
  • Load/unload goods from the truck.
  • Check all delivered goods are accounted for and no missing items from order placed.
  • Adhere to all health & safety procedures at all times.
  • Identify and report all unsafe operations to supervisor
