Apprenticeship Overview

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. Your apprenticeship training will be a fully work-based learning programme across 18 months. Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 3 qualification as a Business Administrator.

Prepare and submit import and export customs declarations using customs software systems.
Accurately extract data from invoices, transport documents, and commercial paperwork and input into customs systems.
Understand tariff codes, customs values, VAT/duty calculations, and transport documentation.
Check documentation for accuracy, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.
Maintain digital records and ensure data accuracy for audit and compliance purposes.
Assist with accounting entries and financial administration tasks.
Support reporting processes using Excel (formulas, data organisation, calculations).
Update CRM systems and customer records.
Assist with email communications (internal and external).
Contribute to marketing and social media tasks where required.
