About The Employer

Marmax Products are seen as one of the market leaders in the manufacturing of 100% recycled plastic furniture which does not rot, corrode or splinter and is guaranteed for a minimum of 25 years. Furthermore, once the product has come to the end of its life, we are able to recycle this back into the extrusion process and create more products for future generations. We cater for all sectors of industry, from schools and councils, theme parks and pubs, parish councils and hospitals to fisheries, sporting clubs and re-homing centres.

Apprenticeship Overview

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work:

  • To research and identify potential customers in order to create a call list for sales calls
  • To answer telephone calls which are sales leads and convert them into sales
  • To call existing or potential customers with the aim of selling our products
  • To develop positive relationships with customers and potential customers
  • To prepare customer quotation based on customer requirements
  • To follow up customer quotations with the aim of converting them into sales
  • To process Sales Orders on the system and ensure that the delivery of the order is completed in a timely manner, this will involve liaising with other departments such as planning, production, despatch and the stores areas
  • To answer and resolve any customer queries or concerns during the ordering process
  • To resolve any post-delivery issues raised by the customer.
  • To provide excellent customer service
  • To use the Company Business Central system to create quotations, sales orders and record customer information and communications
