What will the apprentice be doing?

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Produce parts to exact specification in accordance with standard operations
  • Complete appropriate documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Support achievement of customer delivery targets
  • Identify current or potential production concerns to appropriate personnel
  • Support Kaizen activities
  • Adhere to health, safety and environmental systems
  • Comply with quality business standards and rework procedures
  • Comply with 5s strategy ? sort, straighten, standardise, sweep, sustain
  • Support and work effectively as a team
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
• Full time role available upon completion for the right candidate. 5 various pathways that this role can lead onto in the future such as team leader. We mean it when we say that we see apprentices as our future. On completion, you will have pathway options to consider with your Mentor, which could be a management role or an engineering role, let’s find out what you are good at and enjoy and develop that further.
