At Zenith Training, we are committed to raising awareness for safer communities through proactive education and collaboration. Recently, we had the privilege of partnering with Northumbria Police and the Northumbria Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) to deliver a pivotal Knife Crime Awareness Training session at EGGER Group’s facility in Hexham.
The session aimed to support young people with the knowledge and tools to make positive choices, steering them away from violence. Through open and honest discussions, participants explored the real-life impact of knife crime on individuals, families, and communities. Such educational initiatives play a crucial role in violence prevention, fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility.
This initiative is part of the broader ‘Knives Impact Everyone’ campaign launched by the Northumbria VRU, which emphasises the devastating consequences of carrying a knife. The campaign utilises emotionally charged graphics and has been designed with input from school children eager to end the violence.
