Pennguin are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Warehousing Apprentice. This apprenticeship will provide you with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in the warehousing industry.

Apprenticeship Overview

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. Your apprenticeship training will be a fully work-based learning programme across 12 months. Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 2 qualification as a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative.

  • What you’ll do at work

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operating in a safe and appropriate manner with good manual handling technique
    • Ensuring stock is organised and stored in the correct manner. − Material handling of goods-in and goods[1]out stock into and out of our warehouse onto a trailer.
    • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy
    • Conduct stock counts and highlight any stock discrepancies

     Requirements:

    • A willingness to learn and develop new skills
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
    • Good numerical skills and basic computer literacy
    • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg)
