What will the apprentice be doing?

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Updating HR Records in the HR / Payroll System
  • Updating the “Near Miss / Accident” Report
  • Uploading Company Policies / HR Forms to the internal Training system
  • Assisting with telephone / email queries
  • Updating Training records to the internal Training system
  • Logging & Recording all Training Documents / Certificates to the employee’s electronic HR File
  • Liaising with Colleagues and Managers
  • Collating Paperwork
  • Scanning HR Documents
  • Filing documents to the employee’s electronic HR File
  • Create New Starter Boxes
  • Right to Work in the UK Checks
  • DBS Checks
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be studying a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard over an 18-month period. This is a fully work-based programme – you will get allocated time to complete your apprenticeship work and also receive regular meetings with your training provider.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
• Potential full-time position available upon completion of apprenticeship for the right candidate.
