What will the apprentice be doing?
  • Handling and responding to all correspondence including phone calls, emails, letters
  • Setting reminders for meetings, appointments and other important tasks
  • Liaising daily with Company Secretary to go through agenda/
    meetings/appointments arranged for following day.
  • Collating information required for meetings/appointments
  • Carry out general office duties, dealing with correspondence internal & external
  • Responsible for entering data onto spreadsheets
  • General housekeeping tasks
  • Prioritising tasks in order of importance for Company Secretary
  • Any other tasks as required by Company Secretary
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be studying a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard over an 18-month period. This is a fully work based programme you will get allocated time to complete your apprenticeship work and also receive regular meetings with your training provider.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
• The role could progress into various departments for example, taking responsibility for employee training opportunities (learning and development), office manager or progressing moreover in the transport department. The candidate could pursue a long career with the organisation. Organisation also seeking a candidate who will stay long term.
